Membership in ACCA has privileges. Please use your ACCA # as part of your nick to avoid confusion, allow monitoring and keep this section an extra plus for membership. Best of all....ENJOY! Earl Bassett #0001 This has not been enforced but I am going to ask again that members only post in the member's section and that you use your ACCA member number as part of your ID. I really hate to go to a passworded section but that is a viable option.

I just logged on here-at least I think I did. Anyhow, just curious about the early 70s models of the Cats with the side pipes. I saw a couple pics of a Panther with the 634 Hirth and what looks to be another pic of maybe a Puma with pipes and the heads sticking out of the hood. I saw one of these on a sled trip in the Watersmeet area of the UP in MIchigan back around 1970 when I was a kid. I was curious about how many of these were built in that time. I also wanted to say that your site is very cool. I am not sure if I am logged in properly-the validation code kept saying it was invalid. Anyhow, I can be emailed at mi_bush_man@yahoo.com if anyone has any info on these early piped sleds. It was very cool to see one of these and was able to catch a ride on it when I was like 5 years old. We have been Cat people all our lives. My dad bought our 1st one in the fall of 69 A brand new 70 Panther with a 295 kohler if I remeber right. We also had a cpl of 303s way back as well. Then just kept updating to the present. I currently have an f7. Anyhow, once again thx for the help I hope to hear more about this Chris

Just joined and am wondering about the acca number used in the nickname. I paid my dues and all via paypal, but how do I know what my number is? Maybe this is a dumb question, but still need to know so I can change to correct nickname.

When you go on ACCA home page, scroll down. You'll see NEW members and renewing members. Under that will be a "ad" saying Membership Roster. Click where it says. Then go to your state. It'll give you your number with your name.

Probably to support this particular brand, meet contacts, there are also places on this site accessible only to members.
If this is not your niche, perhaps it is not for you.
I think you get a lot of informtion free, true...
There are many sites dedicated to parts...this makes it more member to member, especially for scarce parts and someone not just out to make a buck. This also helps to prevent the "rip off" and fraud so prevalent on the net.
