The NO SNOW date is in effect.....FEB 5, 2011. Please spread the word.
Hello all. Once again PVSC will be hosting the annual Black Moshannon "BANGERS AT THE HANGARS" Vintage Snowmobile Reunion at the Mid-State Airport, 451 Airport Road, Philipsburg, Pa, 16866. From 10 AM to 3 PM. Feb 5th, 2011.
This is held in conjunction with the clubs P o k e r Run. That saw 300 late model sleds riding the 60 mile trail circuit for chips and prizes last year. The club also puts out some great food. The airport has a heated lounge where registration, food, restrooms are found.
This has always been a small show with really nice trophies, sleds and people. Plus the 300 other sleds that run the p o k e r run. Bring you vintage sleds and parts out for a day of vintage fun. I'll race anyone...LOL.
Classes are as follows. First and Second Place in all classes. Antique 68 and Older, Vintage Trail 69 to 72, Vintage trail 73 to 81, Mini-sled, Vintage Muscle (all), Vintage Racer(all). We will have an area near the show to blast around. We will also need vintage snowmobile vendors. If you have parts or sleds for sale please feel free to come out and join us.
The sled show is on private property so we vintage guys don't have to worry about registration or park rules.
Please use caution when riding and respect the rights of others. Stay on the property. DO NOT RIDE ON STATE PARK LAND WITHOUT REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE. Any erratic riding will result in removal from the property. Black Mo Snowmobile Club
Any vintage questions can be directed to me, Paul Gunns at sixty8cat@aol.com or 570-916-2114 and P o k e r Run questions to Kevin Fogelman at 814-353-1017
